Rangpur
Rangpur Zilla School boasts a rich history dating back to its establishment in 1832. Originally founded as "Zeminder's School" by the local landlords of Rangpur, it was officially opened by Lord William Bentinck. In 1862, it was provincialized and renamed Rangpur Zilla School. The school's original building burned down in 1878, and the current building's foundation was laid in 1883 by Sir Ashley Eden on 15.66 acres of land.
